Kaiser School of Medicine
As part of an invited design competition for a new 100,000sqft school of medicine in Southern California, our team began investigating the changing relationship between medical training and high-quality patient care. This inquiry led us to take a more holistic approach, proposing a design that could be responsive to changing pedagogy and technology, proposing ways to engage the community to promote preventative care and support diversity, and a building that embodied wellness in its form, materials, and construction.
