Daniel Rentsch
Partner
Registered Architect

Growing up in Reno, Nevado, Dan was immersed in the family business, a company that specialized in residential construction in northern Lake Tahoe. This formative introduction to the industry led him to pursue architecture where he is driven by the possibilities of design. His exploratory approach is balanced by his experience in construction, allowing him to keep one foot on the ground while investigating solutions beyond a given brief. Dan’s holistic understanding of the design and construction process enables him to effectively communicate with all those involved in a project throughout the various phases. He has experience with numerous digital fabrication techniques, and as a result, his input is particularly valuable when translating unconventional designs into the built form.

When Dan moved to L.A. in 2002, his plan was to “try it out” for a few months. He stayed. He’s been with BA ever since. Now he and his wife live in Sherman Oaks and would have a pack of rescue dogs if they could.
